Umpires Needed for 2024 Season!

Attention Parents –

Following a trend we’re seeing across the Country, in all age groups and in all sports, we are seeing a dramatic shortage in umpires.  Unfortunately, as long-time umpires either retire or lose interest in umpiring Little League games for any number of reasons, the trend is expected to continue.  We’ve discussed this at the District level, and feel the primary solution to this growing problem is YOU!  We are calling, asking, and pleading with any interested adults to step forward and help us during the upcoming Spring 2020 season, and hopefully beyond.  We simply need committed adults who want to return the focus of the game back to the kids, and make the Little League experience a positive one for our sons and daughters.  You will provided training on proper field mechanics, Little League rules, handling spectators/coaches that become a bit too passionate, and all other aspects of umpiring you can imagine.  Again, no prior training is required – we simply are looking for adults that care about the kids’ experience and want to enhance the Little League experience for all involved.

Please contact your League President (Chrissy Gamboa - [email protected]) and/or Umpire In Chief (Jeremy Strong - [email protected]) if interested.

In Queen Creek Little League, we will also continue our Jr. Umpire program for kids 13 and older (we will provide training).  If interested, please contact your League President (Chrissy Gamboa - [email protected]) and/or Umpire In Chief (Jeremy Strong - [email protected])
